Scary morning

Sophie and I were in the family room waiting for Tom to get dressed this morning and we had a scary thing happen. Sophie was talking to Miles at the top of the stairs, the gate was shut and I was laying on my bed in the family room. All of the sudden there was a huge crash, scream, and "help me!" I was sure the gate had collapsed and she was about to fall down the stairs. I didn't even think...I jumped up, tried to run and fell! I fell on the slate tile, which doesn't have a lot of give. I took most of the fall in my knee and wrist, thankfully, but did come all the way down. At that point Tom's running down the hall and I tell him to help Sophie first. She had knocked a card table down on top of herself and was trapped but not injured. I called the doctor immediately and they said that I should be fine since I don't have any bleeding or contractions as a result of the fall. I was really shaken and still am to some extent. I would really appreciate your prayers this weekend that there will be no residual effects from the fall and that baby girl will be fine. Thank you !
