Snow, so much snow!

We were officially snowed in this weekend...wasn't it beautiful? It started on Friday when the girls and I were at a friend's house for a playdate. It was snowing so hard and so fast that we ended up spending half the day with our dear friends because the roads had not been plowed at all! We did make it home safely later in the afternoon, but could not get the van up our hill! The plow hadn't made it's way to our neighborhood, so mom had to come and rescue us in her 4-wheel drive!

Tom, Sophie and I spent several hours out in the snow, shoveling and playing on Saturday morning. Sadie started the morning with us outside, but after one too many face plants in the snow she had had enough and wanted to go inside to Grammy's house for some real fun! We took a photo with the giant snowman across the street made by our high school aged neighbors, we dug a snow fort and did a little sledding in the front. There was actually too much snow to sled out back! That's so crazy!
