A divine plan
It's so hard to understand some things. There doesn't seem to be an immediate or obvious reason for why things are hard sometimes. I read this quote from George MacDonald and it spoke to me: "I would rather be what God chose to make me than the most glorious creature that I could think of; for to have been thought about, born in God's thought, and then made by God, is the dearest, grandest, and most precious thing in all thinking." I must admit...I'm working on embracing this idea. But, it is amazing. He made each person, with their abilities and disabilities, to an exact plan. I believe there is a purpose, and that there much to be learned through each thing especially those that seem hard. We have SO much in our western culture. I'm so used to life being so easy...washing machine, dishwasher, hot water, showers, heat, food on the table, and on and on. I just don't think to embrace things that are difficult, but I want to see the good in this situation. So, I am choosing to focus on those things. There are many. So many friends and family pouring out their love on us in very tangible ways. I already feel SO blessed with only a few days of bed rest behind me. Thank you for being our support!

I love that quote! If only I could fully embrace it also. Thanks for 'inviting' me to your blog- I will add it to my favorites, and I will pray for your patience & health (baby's too of course)!
