Sadie had her first check-up today and she is doing so well! She has exceeded her birth weight already and weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 oz. The doctor is very pleased with her progress and says that she rarely sees that kind of weight gain in a breastfed baby. Way to eat, Sadie! She has a little jaundice, but it should resolve by the end of the weekend. It was fun to have confirmation of what we already knew, she is perfect!

Steph - What amazing hair!! I can only imagine your relief you feel right now. What an emotional last few years life has been. There is so much to celebrate! Enjoy your time together and make sure that you and Tom find time too:) Can't wait to talk with you and of course meet Miss Sadie one day soon. How's Sophie doing as a big sister? Thanks for the phone call--I love the blog but there is nothing like hearing your voice and the sweet little voices in the background. The doc's affirmation is good to hear and I must say it "tickles" me to hear the way you talk about your "perfect" baby--you will be a great gram someday!
