Easter was a fun day! We went to church on Saturday night, so we woke up and had our egg hunt in our jammies, had a relaxed cup of coffee over the paper and then got ready to go next door for Easter/ Birthday brunch. Everything was delicious, as per usual! Mom made a spinach quiche and ham and Emmy brought a delicious fruit salad and pasta salad - yum yum! Per my request, mom made a banana cake recipe that I had found. It was a little TOO banana for everyone :)
The girls had a second egg hunt at Grammy and Papa's, Sophie couldn't wait to start the minute she walked in the door! They enjoyed the day and were the only 2 grandchildren for the last holiday at the Grammy and Papa's house...baby girl cousin will arrive any day now and we are all so excited! Can't wait to meet her, see who she looks like and find out what her name is!!!
