Tonsils
Sophie has her third tonsil involved infection in 3 months...ugh. They ruled out strep and mono this morning, which were ucky processes for a sick little girl :( The doctor has referred us to an ENT now due to the frequency of these infections and the size of her tonsils. They are huge. They almost touch each other in the back because they are so swollen, and really she's a trooper! It's likely she'll have to have them taken out, I'm not so happy about that, but hopefully that will help her in the future to fight off infections and colds better! Poor Sophie!

Steph, getting those tonsils out might just be the best thing that will happen health-wise for Sophie. And the good thing is that while it's not pleasant, it's also quick and simple. There is nothing worse pain-wise (I'm not talking about major illness) than a really sore, swollen throat in my opinion. I pray that Sophie will be much better very soon!
I hope she likes Popsicles! Feel better Ophie.
