Sophie has learned to write her name all on her own. It's so amazing and fun to see her do it all by herself! It's something that she learned at preschool, I have not been working on it at home with her. I was so impressed! She's growing up so fast!
Sadie has noticed her toys hanging on her activity mat and her bouncy seat now. She likes to grab at them or make them bounce. It's fun to see her so interested in them. She also loves to listen to the musice on her activity mat and gets upset sometimes when it stops :) She is really beginning to dialog with us more and more with her little "oohs" and "aahs" and we love it!
I'm still trying to get back into running...this is going to take awhile! Wow. I took Sophie with me on my run this morning. While it didn't make it any easier it was nice to have some little person to talk with ;) I got out in the yard for 2 hours on Saturday and it felt so good to move some dirt around and get some new plants in the ground. I have only planted deer resistant things, of course, but am still nervous for them all. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Tom was home all weekend and we loved having three days with him! I love holiday weekends!

You'll have to let me know what plants you put in.....I may be able to suggest a few additional deer resistant ones.
It was nice seeing everyone this past weekend....looking forward to a somewhat similar experience this weekend. :-)
