Sadie was dedicated at church this weekend. Tom's parents came down for the celebration and my parents and brother and sister-in-law joined us as well. We had a wonderful time celebrating our precious Sadie!
Sophie tried to steal the show during the dedication as we all stood up front in the church I felt like a maniac mother saying "no, don't lay down on the stage...," "keep your dress down...," and "stay here!" Oh my. I'm not entirely sure what the minister said unfortunately but we were all there and that's what matters ;)
The weather was perfect this weekend and we got the swimming pool out on the porch. It's so nice having that porch railing done this summer! We can go out and enjoy the outdoors while Sadie sleeps the day away just inside.
Thanks to my mother-in-law's help I got some much needed time in the yard (and sleep at night). I loved getting some more planting done. I need to put in a couple more plants in the front and mulch...then I'm sort of done with the essentials.
